Gloria Brooks is a dynamic leader and community advocate with over two decades of experience in business operations, nonprofit leadership, and civic engagement. She enjoyed a distinguished 25-year career at SPRINT Network Operations in Atlanta, retiring in 2015 as a Senior Program/Project Manager. Her corporate background laid the foundation for her entrepreneurial pursuits, including founding Brooks PMP Consulting in 2014 and serving as CEO, as well as co-founding and acting as CFO of New Beginnings T.R.A.P., a community-centered organization. Gloria is also an active board member for several nonprofit organizations, including The Stewart Foundation and TMFI, and she has served in key financial and advisory roles with Kamileon’s Professional Development, Inc. Foundation since 2016.

 

Deeply rooted in service, Gloria holds leadership positions in esteemed organizations such as Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., where she has served in both local and national capacities within the Marietta Roswell Alumnae Chapter. She is also a dedicated member of The Links, Incorporated, serving in fundraising and transportation roles within the Southern Area and Azalea City (GA) and West Towns (IL) chapters. Her civic involvement extends to The Atlanta Sophisticates, where she held multiple leadership roles, including President from 2022 to 2024. A lifelong supporter of the arts, she is a member of Bronze Lens and an engaged congregant of Elizabeth Baptist Church - Cascade. Gloria holds a BBA in Business Information Systems from the University of West Georgia and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP). She is married to George Brooks and is the proud mother of Greonna and Gratia Brooks.
